We investigate the condition of accessible fire-resisting construction, including walls, floors, service penetrations, risers and ceiling or roof voids within the agreed scope.

Our surveys identify visible gaps, damaged materials, unsealed openings and installations requiring further investigation. Findings are recorded with locations and photographs to help inform the next stage of work.

Where concealed areas need opening up, we agree the extent of investigation beforehand and clearly record any access limitations.

Action Plans & Ongoing Compliance Support

We help organise assessment findings and survey recommendations into a practical action plan, with clear priorities, responsibilities and progress records.

Support can include coordinating further surveys, planning remedial works, tracking outstanding items and identifying when follow-up checks are needed.

Fire Door Surveys & Inspections

Fire doors need to remain in good working order. Damage, alterations and defective components can affect their ability to restrict the spread of fire and smoke.

We inspect fire doors and record issues affecting the door leaf, frame, gaps, seals, hinges, closers, glazing and associated ironmongery, as relevant to the agreed survey.

Our findings help you distinguish between maintenance, suitable repairs and doors requiring replacement or further assessment. The aim is a justified scope of work—not unnecessary replacement by default.

Fire Safety Remedial Works

Once the required works have been established, we can help move the project from recommendations to delivery.

Our remedial services include fire door repairs and replacement, firestopping to service penetrations, fire-rated boarding and appropriate fire barrier works.

We prepare a defined scope and quotation, explain any survey assumptions and plan access around the building’s use. Where a detail needs specialist design or additional evidence before work proceeds, we identify that requirement.

Fire Safety Records & Handover Information

For premises covered by the Fire Safety Order, Responsible Persons must record their fire risk assessment in full and document their fire safety arrangements.

We provide records relating to our agreed services, which may include assessment reports, inspection findings, photographs, remedial schedules, product information and applicable installation certification.

The handover should explain what was inspected or completed, the scope of the work and any remaining limitations or outstanding actions.
